At the age of twelve, while attending youth camp, President Denbow received the call to preach.  Being the son of a preacher, he was encouraged to pursue that calling. Due to illness and the subsequent need for his Dad to retire, he was elected to pastor his home church at sixteen years of age. From that time since, he has continued to follow God’s leading in full-time ministry.

Dr. Denbow received a B.S. in Education from Southeast Missouri State College.  He later earned an M.A. and a Doctorate of Ministry from the Assembly of God Theological Seminary.

On July 19, 2005, Gary A. Denbow was elected by the Board of Directors to serve as the ninth president of Central Bible College.   He came to CBC with a wealth of experience in a variety of ministry venues – pastor, church planter, missionary, educator, church leader and gifted preacher of the Gospel.  God has called the Denbows to invest their energies in raising up the next generation of workers for the Lord’s harvest.

They have four grown married children, all serving the Lord, and eight grandchildren.
